If you want to reach maximum enjoyment you need to practice your skills as often as possible. Like most things: what you get out of skin diving is in proportion to the effort you put into it.
But as well as experience you also need good equipment – snug, comfortable fitting gear at a price to match your budget. We have been selling dive gear for over 35 years. If you come to us to be fitted out this should take about 15 -30 minutes. We have a 12 month warranty on everything we sell – money back or alternative equipment - providing the damage is not due to abuse. |

We retail at least 30 different types of mask, 20 different fins and 15 snorkels in a range of sizes & colours. If we don’t have what you need we can normally get it within 2 working days. We sell wetsuits (we recommend a minimum thickness of 5mm for wetsuits if diving year round but we also sell thicknesses above & below this). Plus a full range of accessories. All at a wide range of prices. We offer discounts for groups purchasing of two or more.

Hire

It’s always nice to have your own gear, but if you are diving less than 10 times a year it may be better economics to hire the equipment. For a start you won't need to wash it, dry it and find room to store it, plus you will not get to the site & find you have forgotten something. We use a schedule for hire to ensure you have all you need.
An enjoyable dive starts with comfortable, correctly fitted equipment. Our staff are trained to use a checklist for best fit for all dive items, whether it be for hire or for personal purchase. |

We have a good range of hire gear – over 40 suits, 20 masks and snorkels, weight bets, accessories etc. New equipment is being added regularly. All hires come with a site brief by our staff before you leave.
Note the shop is open 9am to 6pm 7 days a week in Summer; in Winter we are closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays but open the other five days of the week.

A fully refundable deposit is paid on hire, plus photo ID is required for hires.
Most gear is in adult small to XL sizes – for example womens' suits range from dress size 8 through to 18. Because of the range of sizes we do not have many sets for children. We do sell some childrens’ equipment and if what you want is not in stock we can usually get it within two working days.
